Naomi Fisher (b. 1976, USA) is an artist, curator, and activist whose expansive career explores performative methodologies across mediums intended to promote a more eco-conscious and feminist future. Naomi Fisher’s art career began with hyper detailed cibachromes of women in absurd feminist performative gestures, questioning how humans interact with natural forms and material culture - leading to her focus of the last decade: large scale public art projects which bring observations of nature to the public realm, and, nourishing Miami-rooted artists through BFI (Bas Fisher Invitational), the W.A.G.E. certified curatorial platform she directs.

Fisher’s work has been exhibited internationally at the Museo de Arte Zapopan, Mexico; the Henry, Seattle; L.A.N.D., Los Angeles; Wolfsonian Museum, Miami Beach; Palais de Tokyo, Paris; Kemper Museum, Kansas City; Kunsthalle Wein, Vienna; Kunsthaus Baselland, Basel; Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Miami; and the Deste Foundation, Athens, and is included in the collections of the Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Hessel Museum of Art at Bard College; the Museum of Fine Art Boston, Oslo Kommunes Kunstsamling, the Rubell Family Museum, ICA Miami, PAMM, and more.
