Hans Edward Hammonds (b.1983, NO) is a Norwegian and New Zealand artist, teacher and curator, with a Master of Fine Arts from the Elam School of Fine Arts (University of Auckland) in New Zealand. 

Hammonds has a multi disciplinary practice and works with sculpture, installation and participatory/relational projects. His work is playful and explores ways of collaboration, interaction and interplay. Hammonds believe that these are relevant and important themes to work with in the current social and political climate of today.

In recent years he has led relational art projects and research projects on participation and art production with children in schools, institutions and artist-led exhibition venues. He has presented projects and installations at the National Museum in Oslo, Norway’s annual Autumn Exhibition, Vestlandsutstillingen and Stavanger Art Museum and more.
