Gilka QTRLY exhibition and season opening with live music by Tønes:

To celebrate the upgrades to Velferden and the reopening of the community, we invited Stavanger photographer/visual artist Geir-Egil Bergjord to show his project Gilka QTRLY in Velferden. Gilka QTRLY is a magazine with photographs from different locations presented in a special layout without text, in weekly magazine format. Issue 7 has the theme Velferden, or Sandbekk, was launched at the opening, and was shown in a full-page spread together with other issues on 10 tables upstairs and downstairs. Geir-Egil was the first artist to exhibit in our new gallery space, the Reception. We also had a musical performance by Frank Tønnesen, Tønes.
