Meet Hanna Sjøstrand
Hanna Sjöstrand (b. 1978) is a visual artist living in Oslo. During her stay at Velferden Sjöstrand worked with part of the project Cave. Cave explores man's relationship and interaction with mountains in a historical perspective. The paintings are made with color produced by waste products from the mining company Titania AS that she finds in nature.

GEOLOGY COURSE at Velferden with Tom Heldal!
We are looking for participants for the Geology course for adults at Velferden May 24-26. The course lasts from Friday afternoon/evening to Sunday afternoon. There will be exciting presentations by geologist Tom Heldal, an excursion and discovery of local geology, shared meals and discussion.
